My Bio
I'm a general purpose guy. Have been a student, ex-military, ex-firefighter, farm hand, auto mechanic, motorcycle mechanic and custom fabricator, long term motorcycle enthusiast... Been writing science fiction and fantasy stories for my own pleasure for quite some time; none of it published, until now.
The avatar is an image of where The Accidental Ambassador was written; a 1951 Spartan. Though it never left the bank of the Verde River near a town in Arizona; this space ship took me where I needed to go.

Once again, I am looking for an artist. I would like to commission a full color, two character illustration for my next book cover. I'm also considering having some black and white illustrations made as well. The color work will involve a human and a non-human person.

I especially seek an artist who can clearly convey the emotional state of the human and, hopefully, work similar magic on the other. I have the funds in hand. To date, I have hired from this site, Khyaber, thegryph, and Mostly Teeth.

I have been very satisfied with their work but I know that their are a good number of other quality artists out there. If interested in learning more about this project, please contact me either here or, better yet, at dabarrauthor@gmail.com .
